FOR WINDOW CLEANERS
Window cleaning software that works the way a round does.
Window customers aren't "every Tuesday at 10". They're due every 4, 6 or 8 weeks, and you do them when you're in the area. Sudsbook is built around that.
Your round on its own cycle
Give each customer a repeat of every so many weeks. Four, six and eight weeks are the usual ones, but any number from 1 to 52 works. You don't have to pick a day. When a customer comes due, they appear on your due list.
A due list, not a diary full of guesses
Customers are grouped as overdue, due and coming up soon. Tick who you'll do, pick a day, and book them in together.
Plan by area on a map
Customers are placed on the map by postcode and coloured by whether they're due. Zoom to a village, tap "Select all due here" and book them onto one day.
Mark it done, the invoice is made
Tap Mark done and the invoice is created. Send it by WhatsApp, text or email, or mark it paid by cash, transfer or card.
Skip or move one visit
A customer wants to miss one? Skip it and the next one stays booked. Rained off? Move everything still to do to another day in one go.
Getting your round in
Import a spreadsheet (CSV) with names, addresses, postcodes, prices and how often each customer is done. Or tap "Do it for me" and send a photo of your round book. I'll load it in for you to check. That's free for founding members.
Quotes, money and chasing
- Quote from your own price list. The customer taps Accept on the link and turns up at the top of your Today screen.
- See who still owes you. Credit notes if you need to correct an invoice.
- Optional automatic emails: the invoice when you mark a job done, a reminder the day before, and one polite chase when a bill is 3 days overdue. Each one is off until you switch it on.
- Part payments when a customer pays some now and the rest later, and edits to an invoice until it's paid.
- Ready-written text or WhatsApp reminders for tomorrow's customers, and an "on my way" message from any visit.
- VAT on invoices if you're VAT registered.
- At tax time, pick the tax year and download your invoices and payments as spreadsheets for your accountant.
Win more work nearby
You get your own page in the Sudsbook directory, listed under window cleaners for the towns you cover, with a quote form. Ask happy customers for a review and it shows on your page. Lost a customer? One tap writes a "free slot" post to share on your own Facebook or WhatsApp.
You can also make an A4 or A5 flyer, business cards, or a Facebook post or story picture from inside the app, with your prices and a QR code that goes to your page. Each one has its own link, so you can see which brought enquiries. Your page address can be changed, and the old one keeps forwarding.
What it doesn't do yet
Better to know now than after you've moved your round across:
- No Direct Debit collection yet. You mark payments in yourself. Direct Debit is planned as an optional extra.
- No staff logins yet. It's for one person running their own round. A Team plan is planned.
- It doesn't work out the shortest route for you. The map helps you choose an area, and you put the stops in order yourself.
- There's no App Store download. It runs in your phone's browser and you can add it to your home screen like an app.
If you need those today, here's how the UK options compare.
